  • Old school built-to-last-forever quality at an unmatched value.
  • Exposed tan layers not disguised by coating or inner suede.
  • Real full-grain leather hide for support, comfort, and longevity.
  • Thickest leather cores available with the fewest layers possible. We use 1 to 2 layers maximum.
  • No taper. Full 4″ thickness front to back.
  • Massive 2mm thick seamless stainless steel roller buckle.
  • Minimal unsupportive decorative layers to maximize core leather thickness and supportiveness.
  • Heavy-duty finishes such as durable thread and permanent rivets.
  • Absolutely no filler layers ie: extra thick suede, synthetic layers, etc.
  • May require a light break-in period of normal use before belt becomes more comfortable.

A 6.5mm single-prong belt for weightlifting and everyday training. Thinner and more flexible than a 10 to 13mm powerlifting belt, so it moves with you through cleans, snatches, and higher-rep work while still giving your trunk something to brace against.

  • 6.5mm for support that still lets you move
  • Single-prong buckle: simple and secure
  • Great for Olympic lifting, higher-rep work, and general strength training
  • Sizes X-Small to XX-Large, by belly measurement (see size chart)

Built and proven by lifters who train across the board. No premium markup.

Sizing: measure around your belly at the height you wear a belt, then match the size chart.

Who is the 6.5mm belt for?

The 6.5mm is the training belt most serious lifters should be using and aren't. It is not a beginner belt — it is the right tool for the vast majority of training sessions. Where a 10mm can feel like armor, the 6.5mm conforms to your body. It fits like a glove rather than a rigid wall, gives your core a real surface to brace against, and gets out of the way for the rest of the session. If you are squatting and pulling under 500 lb and training hard and consistently, the 6.5mm is likely the more honest choice for your day-to-day work.

Can I use the 6.5mm for competition?

In most federations, yes — the 6.5mm does not exceed competition thickness limits and should pass equipment checks in USPA, USAPL, and most unsanctioned meets. If you compete in a federation with a product-by-product approval process, check your specific rulebook or contact the federation before your meet. When in doubt, a 10mm is the safe choice for competition day. The 6.5mm is built for training — which is where the large majority of your lifting actually happens.

How does the 6.5mm compare to a 10mm in terms of durability?

For most lifters at most loads, both will outlast years of heavy training. The distinction becomes relevant at elite loads — if you are regularly squatting past 500 lb or pulling past 550 lb and relying heavily on the belt at those numbers, you may see wear around the holes on a 6.5mm before you would on a 10mm. Below those thresholds, the 6.5mm holds up well. Full grain leather construction means it breaks in gradually without losing structural integrity — it conforms to your body over time, not the other way around.
