Shipping & Backorders

How long until my order ships?

In-stock US orders ship within 1–2 business days and typically arrive 2–5 business days after the carrier picks them up (up to 7 in rare cases). You'll get a tracking number by email once it's on its way. International orders generally take 7–20 business days.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — free US shipping on orders over $150. Under that, shipping is calculated at checkout. For international orders we pass the carrier's rate straight through with no markup.

My order says backordered — what does that mean and when will it ship?

Backordered means the item sold out and is on its way back into stock, so it ships once our restock lands rather than in the normal 1–2 days. We won't give you a date we can't hit. If you'd rather not wait, you can cancel for a full refund, or reach out and we'll help you find an in-stock option that ships right away.

I've been waiting a while on my knee sleeves. What's going on?

Our most popular sizes and colors run into production delays when demand outpaces stock — we're honest about it rather than inventing a date we can't keep. You have three options anytime: keep your order in the queue, cancel for a full refund, or reach out and we'll help you find an in-stock alternative so you get sleeves on your knees now.

How do I get notified when something is back in stock?

If a size shows "Sold Out," use the "Notify Me When Back in Stock" button on the product page — we'll email you the moment that size and color is back. Signing up for stock alerts does not subscribe you to our marketing emails. (If a size shows "Backordered" instead, you can order it now and it ships as soon as our restock lands.)

How do I track my order?

You'll get a tracking link by email when it ships. You can also log into your account, open the order, and see the latest status there.

My tracking says delivered but I don't have it / my package is stuck in transit.

Once a carrier (USPS, UPS, or DHL) has the package, transit timing is on their end, but we still want to help. Email us at help@stoicperformance.com with your order number and we'll look into it and figure out next steps with you.

Returns & Exchanges

What's your return policy?

30 days, on unworn, unwashed items in original condition with all tags and packaging attached — free of any markings, stains, hair, or odors. To start one: log into your account, select the order, and click "request return." Once we receive and inspect it, we issue your refund to the original payment method; depending on your bank it may take a few business days to appear.

Who pays for return shipping?

If you sized wrong or changed your mind, return shipping is on you. If the problem was ours — wrong item, defect — we cover it, return label and all. We treat our sizing guides as accurate, so a sizing return is the customer's cost unless we shipped the wrong thing.

How do I exchange for a different size?

The fastest way is to request a return on the original and place a new order for the size you want — same 30-day, unworn condition rules apply. Order the new size right away so you don't miss it if it sells out, and we'll refund the return once it's back and inspected.

Can I return a worn or washed item?

No — we can't take back items that have been worn, washed, or are outside the 30-day window. They can't be resold, and it wouldn't be fair to the next customer. If something's defective, that's different — see Warranty below.

Sizing & Fit

How do I measure for knee sleeves?

Measure the circumference around the middle of your kneecap — not above or below it — then match that number to the chart. Our knee-sleeve sizes are knee circumference:

Should I size down for a tighter fit?

It's a preference. A tighter fit gives more compression and rebound out of the bottom of a squat — most heavy lifters like that. A looser fit is more comfortable for longer training sessions. Our sleeves are meant to be snug and take real effort to get on; that's normal. If you're between sizes and want max support, size down; if you want comfort over long sessions, stay true to the chart.

My sleeves feel too tight / too small — did I size wrong?

Maybe not — knee sleeves are supposed to be tight, and a brand-new pair is at its stiffest. Most people find they break in and get easier to put on after a few sessions. If they're genuinely the wrong size, start a return and reorder the next size up (return shipping on a sizing change is the customer's cost — see Returns).

Warranty & Defects

My item arrived defective or damaged. What do you do?

That's on us — we'll make it right with a replacement or full refund and a prepaid return label, no cost to you. Email help@stoicperformance.com with your order number and a photo of the issue and we'll get it handled.

You sent me the wrong item or wrong size.

Our error, our cost. We'll ship the correct item and send a prepaid label for the wrong one. Contact us with your order number and we'll confirm the right size and address before we send anything out.

My sleeves/belt broke. Is that covered?

If an item fails from a manufacturing defect — a seam pops, hardware fails — send us a photo and your order date and we'll take a look and make it right. Normal wear-and-tear on older gear that's been used hard for years isn't a defect and will eventually wear out, but if you're not sure which it is, reach out and we'll help.

Competition & Compliance

Is Stoic gear legal for competition?

Our sleeves, belts, and wrist wraps are built to spec and are compliant for USPA and USAPL competition. Federations differ on the details, so always check your meet's rules before you compete.

Is Stoic IPF approved?

Yes — our powerlifting belts, 7mm knee sleeves, wrist wraps, and singlets are IPF approved through December 31, 2026, and that approval covers all colorways. IPF/USAPL national events require gear from an approved manufacturer list, so verify the current list at powerlifting.sport before a meet — it's updated periodically.

What's the difference between USPA and IPF approval for my gear?

IPF (and USAPL nationals) require gear from an approved-manufacturer list — meeting the dimensions isn't enough on its own. USPA uses a broader, less restrictive list that our gear meets. Smaller federations like RPS and SPF usually just need gear that meets dimensional specs. When in doubt, check your specific federation's rules before competing.

Orders & Account

How do I check my order status or get my tracking?

Log into your account, open the order, and you'll see its current status and tracking. You also get a tracking email automatically when it ships.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

If it hasn't shipped, yes — email help@stoicperformance.com with your order number as soon as you can and we'll do our best to update or cancel it. Once it's with the carrier we can't pull it back, but you can return it under our 30-day policy.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, to most countries (a few are restricted due to strict customs). International delivery generally runs 7–20 business days. You're responsible for any customs duties your country charges, and we pass carrier shipping costs through without markup.

Amazon Orders

I bought Stoic gear on Amazon — can you help with my order here?

For returns, refunds, or exchanges on an Amazon purchase, the fastest path is Amazon's own returns flow in Your Orders — they handle the logistics directly and it's quicker than going through us. For product questions (sizing, fit, which thickness), we're happy to help here anytime.

Will you notify me when an Amazon item is back in stock?

We can't email you directly about Amazon stock — Amazon doesn't share customer emails with sellers. If you'd like restock alerts, sign up with the "Notify Me When Back in Stock" button on the product page at stoicperformance.com.

I'm being charged by "Stoic" for a subscription / supplement / prescription — is that you?

Probably not. We're Stoic Performance — we make strength training and lifting gear (belts, knee sleeves, wrist wraps, apparel, and footwear). There are other companies using the "Stoic" name for men's health, supplements, and subscription apps, and we have no access to their accounts. To find the right company: search your inbox for the original order or billing email, or check your bank/card statement for the exact merchant name and website. Sorry for the mix-up — that'll point you to the right place fast.
