Nylon, hook and loop

To extend the life of your Stoic wrist wraps hand wash your wraps with warm water and gentle detergent if necessary.

Lay them flat to dry.

Do not bleach or iron them, this will make them unwearable.

Washing them in the washing machine or placing them in the dryer can ruin the elasticity and damage your wrist wraps.

Wrist wraps fail in two places: the thumb loop and the Velcro closure. The thumb loop takes the full load every time you wrap and unwrap. Cheap thumb loops tear or pull through the fabric within a year of regular use. Stoic wraps use a reinforced, heavy-duty loop construction — the same standard on all three lengths.

The Velcro closure is quality hook-and-loop that holds across years of use. Not the kind that loses grip after six months and bunches when you roll the wrap. USPA, USAPL, and IPF competition compliant.

  • 18", 24", and 36" lengths — 18" is right for most lifters
  • 36" for maximum rigidity under elite pressing loads

Use wrist wraps for heavy bench and overhead pressing. Take them off for everything else — your wrists need to work on lighter movements.

Are these IPF approved and competition legal?

Yes, the Stoic wrist wraps are IPF approved and made to comply with competition specs.

For federations that require equipment approval, we are currently approved in:

  • IPF
  • USAPL
  • USPA
  • IPL
  • AAU

Always check with your specific federation’s rulebook and/or competition director to be sure your equipment will be allowed prior to your competition.

Will these fit small hands/wrists?

These wrist wraps will fit wrists of all sizes! If you have smaller wrists you may want to order the 18” or 24” long wraps. The 36” long wraps may feel a little too bulky on your wrists, however, they will still fit.

Will these help my grip?

The Stoic wrist wraps are not helpful to aid your grip. You’ll want to take a look at our lifting straps to aid your grip.

Our wrist wraps will help stabilize your wrists during bench press or squats.
