The details
The Antifragile Compression Pant is built for lifters who want supportive compression without fighting depth, setup, or movement. The 89/11 nylon-elastane blend gives a locked-in feel with enough stretch for squats, pulls, warmups, and high-output training.
Why lifters wear it
- Supportive compression through the hips, thighs, and lower leg
- Four-way stretch for deep positions and repeated movement
- Reinforced seams for regular training use
- Waistband designed to stay put — through squats, deadlifts, and everything between
- Matte black Antifragile styling with restrained Hydra branding
Best for
- Squats and deadlifts
- Warmups and accessory work
- Conditioning sessions
- Cold gym days
- Lifters who prefer full-leg compression
Fit
This is a compressive training fit. Choose your normal waist size for a locked-in feel. If you are between sizes, prefer less compression, or want easier all-day wear, size up.

FAQ
How should it fit?
Snug and locked in, but not restrictive. You should be able to reach full depth without the fabric fighting you. If it feels like it's cutting off circulation or limiting your setup, size up.
What if I'm between sizes?
Size up. Compression gear should feel secure, not distracting. You'll still get the support — just with a little more comfort.
What's it made of?
89% premium nylon, 11% elastane. The nylon-heavy blend gives durability and structure; the elastane provides the stretch and snap-back you need under load.
Can I squat and deadlift in it?
Yes. Antifragile is cut for training — squats, pulls, conditioning, warmups, and repeated use.
Will the waistband roll down during deadlifts?
No. The waistband is designed to stay put. It holds position through the hinge, the pull, and the reset.
Is it see-through?
The fabric is a substantial black compression blend designed for training coverage. As with any compression gear, fit affects opacity — choose the size that gives you compression without over-stretching the fabric.
Can I wear it outside the gym?
You can, but it's built for training. The compression fit is intentional — it's not a lounge pant. If you want it for all-day wear, size up.
Will the compression loosen over time?
The 89/11 blend is chosen for durability and snap-back. Wash cold and hang dry to keep the elastane from breaking down. Avoid high heat.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold. Hang dry or tumble dry low. No bleach, no high heat.
Pants or shorts?
Pants if you want full-leg coverage — better for cold gyms, longer sessions, or if you prefer compression from waist to ankle. Shorts if you want compression through the hips and thighs without full-leg coverage.
Is this for recovery or injury prevention?
No medical claims here. Antifragile is training gear: supportive compression, four-way stretch, and a secure fit for work under the bar.
Questions lifters ask
How does sizing work?
Measure first, then match your number to that product's sizing guide — every size we publish is a real measurement, not a guess.
Between two sizes? Size down for more compression and support; stay true to the chart for comfort over longer sessions. Sizing detail

Is Stoic gear legal for competition?
Yes for USPA and USAPL — our belts, knee sleeves and wrist wraps are built to competition spec.
They are also permitted in IPF-recognised competition through 31 December 2026; from 1 January 2027 they are not eligible for IPF-sanctioned events. Federations differ, so check your meet's rules. Competition detail
What if it arrives damaged, or fails?
That is on us — a replacement or a full refund, plus a prepaid return label, at no cost to you.
Email help@stoicperformance.com with your order number and a photo. Gear used hard for years does eventually wear out and that is not a defect, but if you are not sure, send the photo anyway. Warranty detail
How do I get told when my size is back?
If a size shows sold out, use the notify option on this page and we will email you the moment that size and colour is back. Signing up for a stock alert does not subscribe you to marketing email.
