Compression cuff sizing

How to choose your cuff size

The cuff is deliberately smaller than the arm it goes on. That gap is the compression.

How to measure

  1. Step 1 Measure

With a soft measuring tape measure the exact area you plan on wearing the compression sleeve/cuff.

Measure the area you intend on wearing your compression sleeve during a workout or pump. This will give you a more accurate measurement when purchasing.

  2. Step 2 Record

Record your measurement and choose your size.

  3. Step 3 Pick a size

Pick a cuff size 1 inch smaller than your measurement for moderate compression, and 2 inches smaller for intense compression.

Size chart

Find the arm measurement you recorded, then buy the cuff on its row. The second figure is the same cuff worn for intense compression.
Cuff size Your measurement (in)
8 in 9 — moderate 10 — intense
9 in 10 — moderate 11 — intense
10 in 11 — moderate 12 — intense
11 in 12 — moderate 13 — intense
12 in 13 — moderate 14 — intense
13 in 14 — moderate 15 — intense
14 in 15 — moderate 16 — intense

If you are looking for intense compression size down 2" smaller than your measurement. Please keep in mind these can cut off circulation if worn too tight.

Measure larger than the biggest row, or smaller than the smallest, and we do not make a cuff for it yet — message us and we will tell you straight.

The original illustrated guide
Stoic compression cuff sizing guide illustration. Step 1, with a soft measuring tape measure the exact area you plan on wearing the compression sleeve or cuff. Step 2, record your measurement and choose your size. Step 3, pick a cuff size one inch smaller than your measurement for moderate compression, and two inches smaller for intense compression. Its printed chart pairs each measurement with a cuff size: 9 inches to an 8 inch cuff, 10 to 9, 11 to 10, 12 to 11, 13 to 12, 14 to 13, and 15 to a 14 inch cuff. Tip: measure the area during a workout or pump for a more accurate measurement.
The chart above is built from this print’s own rule — one inch smaller for moderate compression, two for intense — applied to the cuff sizes we currently stock. Checked 2026-08-14: it reproduces the printed table row for row.
